I'd say it depends on how you like to drive/use the car. Ie if you use the car to cruise around the city for standard day to day driving, not really pushing it, then the fwd's are a little quieter, feel a little more nimble as they're lighter etc. + they can be had in manual which can be the deal breaker as it makes such a difference.

In your case if they're Veradas (auto only) then I'd say go the AWD version, the slight downsides of being a bit slower etc. are more than made up for with the AWD. Basically the harder you push the car the better it gets with the AWD, zero wheelspin, huge traction on any road surface, it is just so good, it leaves me in awe every time I drive it. If you read any reviews of Evo handling, it's virtually the same (it is much better than the subaru, audi etc. systems, which feel a bit disconnected after driving the Mitsu system).

The AWD converted to manual however is the best of both worlds! Mine will be up for sale in the next few months if anyone is interested (minus supercharger kit), it will be very sad to let go, however I've been driving magnas since 1997 (TF wagon for 3 yrs--> manual vr-x for 5 yrs --> AWD magna for 10yrs!) , but it is time to change to a small hatchback for the inner city.
